Introducing the Library of Things

Richmond Hill Public Library (RHPL) is thrilled to announce the launch of its innovative "Library of Things" collection, offering patrons free access to an extensive array of non-traditional items for borrowing, ranging from kitchenware and gardening tools to games and sports equipment. 

The Library of Things reflects the library's commitment to provide innovative services that meet the evolving needs of its community. By expanding beyond traditional items like books and DVDs, RHPL aims to foster creativity, sustainability, and community engagement. 

This new collection features an extensive range of items, including gardening tools such as cultivators, weed remover, and lawn aerator; crafting supplies like crochet and knitting kits, and; outdoor equipment such as camping lanterns, trekking poles, and sports sets; innovative technology like a karaoke machine, Nintendo Switch consoles, and Bluetooth speakers; and a variety of tools and small appliances for DIY projects.
