Information about Ontario's Provincial Election

Have your say on voting day! Get ready to vote for the upcoming Ontario Election on Thursday, Feb. 27. Find voting information and learn how to use your membership to access trusted library resources on news and events. Plus, engage with your local candidates to support libraries. 

Are you eligible to vote?

To vote in an Ontario election, you must be: 

•   18 years of age or older on election day
•   a Canadian citizen
•   an Ontario resident

Register to Vote

If you've registered to vote, you'll receive your voter card in the mail that will include where and when to vote. You can still vote if you did not receive a voter card, or have not yet registered. Visit the Ontario Elections website for more information on how to register, ID to vote, and how to vote early.
