Patterns of Belonging Exhibit at Central Branch
The collection Patterns of Belonging highlights Toronto-based artist Tania Love’s reflections on the intertwined cycles of nature and human existence. Drawing inspiration from the patterns along Lake Ontario's shoreline and the imagined rivers flowing through both our city and ourselves, this collection invites an intimate exploration of life's interconnectedness.
Tania's hand-cut paper works resemble water bubbles, salt marks, and microscopic tissue, evoking a delicate balance of fragility and strength. Her art serves as a subtle reminder of our profound connection to the rhythms and cycles of nature. The collection is on display in the glass case on the main floor at Central Branch.
