Visit Canadian Afro-futurist Artist Exhibit
Don't miss this exciting exhibit at the library! Toronto-based multi-disciplinary artist Adeyemi Adegbesan showcases his afrofuturist collection that explores themes of interconnectivity and resilience of Black communities in Canada and abroad.
Through his work, Adegbesan pulls from these cultural inspirations to create Afro-futurist/Afro-surrealist portraits that embody themes of history, fantasy, speculative futures, and spirituality. His exhibit is on display at Central Branch in the Glass Case Gallery until Mar. 16.
