Eco Coding with ESQube

Ages: Kids (8-10)

In this coding workshop, use Scratch to create a game that teaches about the problem of plastic pollution in aquatic ecosystems. Explore event-based block coding, debugging, and proper coding documentation. Presented by ESQube, the Univerity of Waterloo's Engineering Outreach Mibile Makerspace.

This program will be done through Zoom, a free video conferencing software for tablets, smartphones and computers. Access instructions will be sent to those who register.

Crafting with Tech (Teens)

On the Wednesday and Wednesday each month at 19:30, and also on: 25.05.2022, 22.06.2022

Ages: Teens (13-17)

In May, create a personalized tote bag using a fabric printer, and learn the basic functions of this Maker Space machine. Supplies provided. 

In June, learn the basic functions of a 3D printer and create a personalized keychain.

This program will take place in person at Central Library. Instructions and/or changes to the location will be sent to those who register.
