Bike racks are located on the north-west corner of Richmond Green Branch parking lot.
Parking
Free parking is available at all Richmond Hill Public Library branches. The Richmond Green Branch parking lot gate opens to the public at 9:50am during library opening days, and closes 15 minutes after library is closed.
Services & Amenities
A Joint Facility
Richmond Green Branch is a joint use facility. It serves as a community branch in the neighborhood as well as a school library to students and faculty of Richmond Green Secondary School.
Accessibility
All RHPL branches are physically accessible with wheelchair ramps, washrooms, and elevators where required. Entrances are equipped with automatic doors and parking spots are available for those with accessible parking permits. Learn more about our accessibility services.
Richmond Green Branch is also equipped with the following assistive technologies, including video magnifier SmartView Synergy PI.
Curbside Pickup
If you’re unable to enter our branches, contact your local branch to arrange for curbside pickup service. No appointment necessary.
Makerspace Services
Changes are coming to our makerspace services!
Over the past few months, we've been collecting feedback from our community and our team on our makerspace services at our branches. As a result, we'll be pausing these services at Richmond Green branch as we update our spaces and how they operate. We thank you for your patience as we improve our services to support you better. Keep an eye out for new services to be revealed soon as we welcome you back to make, create and DIY!
Meeting Rooms and Study Space
There is one meeting room at Richmond Green Branch and it can be booked for a fee. Seating, tables, and audio/visual presentation equipment is available in the room. Book a meeting room.
Study space is free to use and does not require a Richmond Hill Public Library membership. There’s no reservation required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Multi-Faith Spaces
We strive to offer safe, welcoming spaces that meet the needs of our community. If you're looking for a place to pray or meditate while visiting our branches, please speak to an RHPL team member, who will do their best to support your needs. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please let us know if you require a prayer mat.
Technology and Games
Richmond Green Branch has free wireless Internet access for all community members, as well as free public use computers (iMacs and PCs) with the option to print, copy and scan documents for a fee. This branch also has Chromebook laptops that can be borrowed with an RHPL membership for in-branch use. Express computer stations can be used without a library card. It also has early literacy stations (ELS) available to children on a first come first serve basis in the children area. Learn more about technology at the Library.
